Bavarian Beerhouse
190 City Road, London, EC1V 2QH
Everyone likes an unpretentious place where good food, plenty of drink and unlimited fun is the norm. The Bavarian Beerhouse that claims to hold the distinction of being the only authentic German/Bavarian beerhouse in the UK is all this and more. Smiling waitresses in traditional dirndl dresses are eye catching as they serve foaming beer in huge stein glasses. While beer is a necessary part of the scene here, don't lose the chance of ordering something from their simple menu, starters such as the weisswurst, two Bavarian white sausages served with a pretzel and sweet mustard. For a more filling meal, try the münchner schweinshaxen, roasted pork shank served with sauerkraut and potato dumplings.Everyone likes an unpretentious place where good food, plenty of drink and unlimited fun is the norm. The portions are large so do leave some room for apfelstrudel, a classic Bavarian-style apple strudel served with cream. The Oktoberfest in London is an annual event hosted by the Beerhouse, which brings together many expats and locals looking for entertainment in a relaxed and entertaining atmosphere that does indeed portray the spirit of Bavarian exuberance to great effect.

REVIEWS OF Bavarian Beerhouse
Christine (8 May 2008)
This is a great place for a group night out. We went there with some English colleagues to show how the Germans eat, drink and celebrate. Being a German myself I can only say that we had a great night.

With quality food, friendly staff, quick service and excellent value for money, Nando's is a great place to eat. Don't expect identikit, pre-fab restaurant interiors which are usually a staple of the larger chains; each restaurant is tailored to its local surroundings and customers, offering up a unique restaurant experience to go with the equally unique taste of legendary, Portuguese, Peri-Peri chicken.
