The earliest in a chain of restaurants spread all over California, The Beach Fire Restaurant and bar is located in the heart of downtown San Clemente in the town's main street and revolves around the idea of fostering community and personal interaction through food, music and art. Known for its coastal cuisine, which is not surprising considering its proximity to San Clemente pier at the Avenida Del Mar, the restaurant serves food that is fresh with ingredients sourced locally.

Surrounded by a warm fireplace, comfortable wooden furniture and paintings by local artists, diners can avail themselves from a varied menu that can be had al fresco or in the dining area. The food is typically Southern Californian, with dishes of grilled stuffed artichoke steamed in a red wine herb broth with sautéed mushrooms and parmesan cheese; pastas of rum butter jerk chicken and taco plates of grilled chicken and fillet mignon.
