The Beach House Café is housed in a beautiful white fronted townhouse close to the scenic Old Greenwich Cove shoreline and just a short distance from the I-95 highway. The clean, airy interiors carry a hint of nautical flavour while the restaurant's varied menu of traditional American fare can also be enjoyed alfresco during the warm summer months.

The nautical theme is unsurprisingly carried over to the menu which features a host of locally sourced seafood dishes including starters of clam chowder, shrimp potstickers with organic ginger sauce, Rhode Island style calamari with cherry peppers. The sandwich list, available at lunch and dinner, offers fish tacos fried with pico de gallo and fire roasted salsa, and the signature lobster roll. Salads of grilled salmon over fresh greens with sun dried tomatoes and pistachio butter or a crispy calamari frisee make a perfect light bite. More substantial mains include ale battered fish and chips with coleslaw and tartare sauce, and penne pasta with sautéed chicken, vegetables and roasted garlic olive oil.

The well-stocked oval bar serves up a comprehensive list of wines, martinis and beers which complement the meal perfectly.
