Beauberry House Restaurant & Bar
Gallery Road, Dulwich Village, London, SE21 7AB
If they were giving out stars for location, then Beauberry House would definitely receive the full compliment; it is a beautiful Georgian grade II listed building in the heart of Dulwich Village, with two terraces for summer dining, a private drive and panoramic views over Belair Park. Weddings, corporate events or even birthdays are celebrated there with aplomb and Sundays lunch is always a wonderful occasion with locals vying with each for tables. Their restaurant juxtaposes the cuisine of two vastly different countries, Japan and France, without causing any confusion over fusion attempts, offering interesting dishes of high quality, at reasonable prices. Expect starters of sea trout roll or crispy squid with spring onion and chilli with a main course of caramelised black cod with miso and sushi rice, or the more traditional confit lamb shoulder with caramelised spiced onion chutney and sautéed aubergine with cashew nuts.If they were giving out stars for location, then Beauberry House would definitely receive the full compliment; it is a beautiful Georgian grade II listed building in the heart of Dulwich Village, with two terraces for summer dining, a private drive and panoramic views over Belair Park. REVIEWS OF Beauberry House Restaurant & Bar
Anna (22 August 2010)
Speaking from experience - a fantastic venue for a wedding, highly recommended. They provide a beautiful wedding setting for both the ceremony and reception. A real bonus was the events manager Oleia and the team who worked extremely hard to ensure the day ran smoothly. Even when a few curve balls were thrown at them by the wedding party they handled everything with extreme professionalism. The friendly and efficient staff created a relaxed atmosphere and meant that we could all enjoy a stress-free wedding. The barbeque food was wonderful, really tasty and plenty of it. Alcohol was also available in abundance with very prompt refills. Everything was well organised and coordinated. Genuinely the guests, family and friends all had a great time and extremely positive comments. Thank you to all at Beauberry House for making a special day wonderful!
