On the night we ordered a three course meal off the manu, the starter we had was vegetable soup & tomato soup, which was served promptly, and we both had Beke's Jollof rice (rice mixed in red sauce) served with jerk chicken & plantain, this taste is so authentic and rich in flavours, we feel this was variably spiced to accommodate most taste buds, and dessert we both enjoyed the carrot cake with ice cream. All in all food is great and service is welcoming.

One of the finest Afro-Caribbean restaurants in Dagenham. I have eaten several times at "Beke's kitchen," a relatively new Afro-Caribbean restaurant in Dagenham and also serve traditional English breakfast. The menu is standard but they will make you special dishes on request. The owners take extra care in delivering first class customer service. The restaurant's atmosphere is sophisticated but, at the same time, almost homey, making Beke's Kitchen a very pleasant dining experience. The prices are reasonable for the quality, though certainly not cheap.
