The concept of opera dinners, already made famous by Bel Canto in Paris, has taken root at London and has already created a flutter by attracting regular clientele as well as drawing those looking for a unique experience. The waiting staff at the restaurant are talented young opera performers who spontaneously break into arias from Verdi, Puccini, Mozart and many more to offer fine dining with a twist.

Start with Scottish smoked salmon with blinis and dill crème fraîche, or grilled goats' cheese wrapped with pancetta on a bed of toasted rustic bread, glazed red onions and apple salad. For main course consider slowly braised British lamb shank with a red port sauce and mashed potatoes, and corn-fed chicken stuffed with Philadelphia cheese and basil, wrapped with bacon. Top the meal with hot chocolate fondant with vanilla ice cream, tiramisu or floating island.
