Bells of Peover Description
Situated in the heart of rural Cheshire, this Grade 1 listed, wisteria-clad pub offers an extensive menu of homemade dishes with an emphasis on fresh fish and seafood. It was winner of "Cheshire Life" Dining Pub of the Year 2002/2003.
Food is served Monday to Saturday from 11 am to 10 pm, and on Sunday from 12 pm to 9 pm. Children are welcome in one designated area, though they do ask that under-fourteen year olds vacate the premises by 9 pm.
Dishes could include: shark steak with a parmesan crust served with a tomato chutney; smoked salmon and prawn penne pasta with cream and white wine; pork schnitzel on spinach pappardelle with a plum tomato sauce; mushroom, spinach and stilton pie or calf's liver, sausage, bacon and sage pie.

Bells of Peover has always been fantastic. We dine there on a regular basis sometimes twice a week. Food waits may be long but the food is always wonderful. The management team - Richard and Elexa are always very accommodating and are loved by many regulars such as ourselves. We would recommend this pub to any body visiting Cheshire.

Today I was with a party of walkers who visited the pub. Our meals where pre-ordered at 10.30 on the same day. We arrived back at the pub at 1.15 and waited forty five minutes for the first meal to be served. We all nearly walked out. The last person to be served was told his meal had already been served, he was not pleased. My food was disappointing, I had a baguette with rump steak and the steak was full of gristle and soft chips. We were all very disappointed with the service.
