Below Zero London

31-33 Heddon Street, London, W1B 4BN

A subterranean secret to some and a hidden gem to others, Below Zero is one of London's favourite restaurants and lounge bars. Home to the world famous Absolut Icebar, this is a perfect place to enjoy warm or cold cocktails and fine food in comfortable, atmospheric surroundings. Originally used as the wine vaults for the British monarchy, the interior is dressed in a palette of Dorset cream, burgundy, claret and chocolate, exuding richness and warmth from the use of opulent velvet curtains, soft leather semi-circular banquettes and solid beech furniture, which contrasts stylishly against the original exposed brickwork. The modern European tapas-style menu with a large selection of small plates, grills and side dishes are designed for sharing, think house-made reindeer bresaola with turnip carpaccio, black currant and gin dressing, or lemon pepper skewered baby chicken.
