Bensons Restaurant & Tea Rooms

Bensons is a licensed restaurant and tea rooms in the heart of historic Stratford-upon-Avon; they serve a range of breakfasts, stylish lunches and traditional afternoon teas. Also on the menu is a selection of gourmet sandwiches including turkey, brie and cranberry and main dishes, running from baguettes and pitta breads through to a delicious fisherman's platter.

Their great speciality though is traditional afternoon tea, all served on a three tiered stand with sandwiches, freshly baked scones with clotted cream and strawberry preserve, and traditional loose leaf English Breakfast Tea; if you are looking for an unusual treat, then try their Champagne Afternoon Tea for Two.

Bensons is also the sole restaurant in Stratford-upon-Avon to serve products from the internationally renowned Maison Blanc patisserie, established by leading chef Raymond Blanc, which uses only the very finest of ingredients. Bensons is very popular with the locals in the town and has been referred to as 'one of Stratford's best kept secrets'. The Independent newspaper chose Bensons as one of the Top 50 places in the UK to take Afternoon Tea - other inclusions were Fortnum and Mason and The Ritz in London, so they were in good company.
