Bhatti

37 Great Queen Street, Covent Garden, London, WC2B 5AA

You don't really have to scour the whole of Covent Garden for a good Indian restaurant when places like Bhatti prompt diners to always keep coming back for more of those delicious Indian dishes. Located within a historic 17th century listed building, the interior, although pleasant, is done up in a discreet manner, but nobody is  complaining as the food value is some of the best around. For those who can't get enough of those curries, choose from a varied selection with chicken, lamb or king prawns cooked in the various styles, vindaloo, rogan josh, masala, jalfrezi, balti and Madras. Starters might include delights from the tandoor like tender quails marinated with spices, and lamb chops, or the Bhatti special plate of chicken drumsticks, seekh kebab and onion bhajee.

REVIEWS OF Bhatti

Sue (23 October 2009)

We went to Bhatti yesterday and had a very enjoyable meal. The starters were delicious and the side salads were crisp and colourful. There were large chunks of lemon too. We chose the lamb shashlik and chicken korai with pilau rice and naan and the portions were ample. It was nicely presented, and the meat was beautifully spiced, very tasty and not too hot. The house wine is very acceptable as well. All in all, the staff were pleasant, helpful, not pushy, and when we left at 9 pm the restaurant was full. We will definitely go back on our next visit to London.
