Biagio Chez Victor

45 Wardour Street, Soho, London, W1D 6PZ

Biagio Chez Victor originally opened its doors in 1901 and is counted among London's oldest traditional French restaurants. A recent renovation has helped it blossom into a bright, spacious and inviting destination with exposed brickwork, simple lines and natural elements. Biagio Caroleo, the current owner of Chez Victor has amongst his most cherished possessions, a guest book from that era, signed by the likes of David Hockney who included a full page ink drawing sketch to express his appreciation. The Mediterranean menu blends Chez Victor's classic French roots and traditional Italian inspired delights, serving specialities such as seafood pasta al cartoucio cooked in parchment paper, sautéed frog legs, and calf liver with a white wine and onion reduction.
