Bianco Nero Description
Bianco Nero is a recently opened Italian restaurant in the centre of Hammersmith, it offers an extensive menu in their upstairs dining room, with homemade pasta and bread, traditional meat and fish dishes with seasonal vegetables, and more; whilst you can also enjoy antipasti, crostini, bruschetta and cocktails, as well as pizzas fresh from the wood burning oven, in the relaxed atmosphere of their downstairs bar, Aperitivo Nero.
Bianco Nero is, as its name suggests, a simple, chic space, black and white in its decor with a recurring theme of popular Italian herbs silhouetted on white canvas throughout the restaurant.
With Aron Johnson, formerly Executive Chef at Al Duca, at the helm as Head Chef, Bianco Nero delivers interesting, authentic Italian food, creating the type of local everyone wants on their door step; Aron focuses on using excellent quality produce to create classic Italian flavours. Aperitivo Nero is also available for private parties.

It was perfect in every way, that’s the only way we can describe this restaurant. We travelled all the way up to London from Ashford, Kent and visited Bianco Nero for a meal prior to going to see Russell Brand Live at the Apollo, unfortunately cancelled due to ill health, and was pleasantly surprised. The atmosphere was fantastic, the members of staff were very attentive and the food was truly wonderful. I had the salmon to start and my wife had the crab linguini, both were cooked to perfection and tasted fantastic. Our main courses were lamb shoulder with crushed potatoes and carrots, my wife had the organic chicken with butternut squash and wild mushrooms and again both were perfectly cooked and had lots of lovely flavours, very tasty. My wife had the white chocolate cheesecake to finish whilst I declined due to being full as the portions were just the right size. The tables were fine, the seating was comfortable and the music was playing softly in the background so we could hear each other without shouting. The drinks were inexpensive and the whole experience was five star. The total cost with surcharge was £51! We will definitely be going back to this restaurant whenever in London as it was one of the best Italian restaurants we have ever been to and, trust us, we have been to hundreds. Thanks again Bianco Nero, see you very soon. Shame about Russell though!

This is a great little proper Italian. It was a bit of a surprise to us as Hammersmith doesn't really offer much in the way of trendy restaurants. Definitely try the white chocolate cheesecake. It is a great date location as it is super cool inside and has yummy cocktails. I will definitely go back again.
