Every meal we ate at the Bishosgate House Hotel was perfect. This indeed has got to be the best hotel we have ever stayed in - fresh and clean in everyway and the food was out of this world.

Breakfast was always hot and cooked to perfection. We had a full breakfast - you could also have toast and marmalade, fresh orange juice, croissants and more.

For our evening meal, I had melon to start which was something of a work of art, the best I've tasted, served with sorbet and kiwi, mango and a raspberry coulee. Mains were equally enjoyable - chicken breast with mushroom sauce, vegetables were cooked just right - fresh, local produce that tasted how it should.

For dessert lemon cheescake with vanilla ice cream. Both were homemade and the presentation of all the food was first class - we are definitely going to stay there again, even if it is just for the food!
