We lived in London for two years and ate at Bistro 1 at least once a fortnight. The food is always fantastic and service warm and friendly. I would highly recommend it to anyone who travels to London, especially those on a budget.

The food is of very good quality in this restaurant and the waiters are pleasant and I have never been given bad service. I have been eating here with friends for about five years now and all the people who I recommend to this restaurant are also highly delighted with the price and the quality of the food.

Where else in London can you get a three course meal for under £10 at lunchtime. The lamb is very tender, there are lots of starters to choose from and they give you free bread, butter and olives. Most restaurants charge you for a few pieces of bread! I would recommend this place to anyone who wants good quality food in a friendly reliable restaurant.
