Four friends and I dined at Bistro 46 last night for the first time and had the most wonderful meal. I started with quinoa and sweetcorn fritters - the chef put an extra fritter on my plate as we were sharing. It was followed by the best wild mushroom risotto I have tasted in many years and finished with blueberry and white chocolate creme brulee to die for. The ambience was perfect with interesting decor, good lighting, well-spaced table layout and friendly service. I will be recommending Bistro 46 to everyone and can't wait to go back.

We dined out here on last Thursday and found the meal was absolutely first class. We were staying in Brixham for a week and found the menu a great change from the ubiquitous fish menus, so common in the other restaurants. The spicy mushroom bread pudding starter was first class, packed with flavour and beautifully light with a fantastic carrot and cumin chutney. My wife had the crayfish byriani which was also packed with flavour. Main courses of lamb curry and pumpkin lasagne were also first class. If you'd like a change from the normal seaside menus, try Bistro 46 - I highly recommend it.
