Black Horse, The Description
In these barren times of bland Nitro Keg beer and pre-packed, deep frozen, de-hydrated Pub Meals, the Black Horse is a refreshing oasis, where you can still get good beer and freshly prepared food.
If you are looking of the 'Real McCoy' when it comes to oriental food then look no further. The Landlady is Thai herself and cooks the food in an authentic and traditional style. Her major claim to fame is that she once cooked a meal for the Thai Royal Family. A good selection of Thai dishes can be found on the bar menu with their traditional Thai names.
The beer is very well kept and there is always a good choice of brews. The regulars include Hoskins & Oldfield 'HOB' as well as Green King Abbot & IPA. The guests are too numerous to mention here, however take a look at the wall of fame. Apart form the beer there is also a choice of bottled ciders.

We came upon this eatery by chance and what a great discovery it was. Living as we do in Lutterworth we remembered the place from many years ago - it fell into disrepair and was no more.
Now rebuilt and vastly improved, the new pub has a truly great beer selection and tasty Thai food. The locals are friendly enough and their prices are reasonable. We will certainly make this a regular venue.
