This popular vegetarian restaurant enjoys a steady stream of diners that has been known to include Sir Paul McCartney no less. All choices arrive in very generous portions from the pan-fried potatoes with leek, sage and Gruyere to the light option of Californian sushi rolls. Alcohol is on a bring-your-own basis with a token corkage charge, making this a good value restaurant. Desserts are another highlight, especially those served with their heavenly vanilla custard.

We went with our friends on Saturday night, and I was surprised to see that we have a gem of a place so near to where we live. I had the potato cake with porcini sauce, and my wife had chimichanga, which is made with various beans. Both dishes were delicious, and well presented. For dessert we shared a tiramisu, and also enjoyed this. We left after a nice cup of their espresso coffee. This place is highly recommended.

We dined with them last night and were very pleased both with the service and the fresh and beautifully presented meal. The desserts were also excellent. We are going back and considering a small party for Christmas. It’s highly recommended.
