Blakeney White Horse Description
The Blakeney White Horse is a splendid establishment just off the Quay at Blakeney, so well within sight, sound and smell of the sea. The whole place is buzzing in a quiet and friendly sort of way and supports a nice blend of locals and visitors. Diners can choose to sit in the newly refurbished bar, the conservatory or the smart new dining room and enjoy the delicious fare.
Try the pork rillettes with spiced chutney and toast, pan roasted red mullet with mussels, bacon and tomato stew, rounded off well with ginger bread, caramel sauce and vanilla ice cream. Four real ales and a seventy strong wine list ensures that all your drinking needs are met with ease. The White Horse is one of those places where people do not make too much distinction between the bar and the restaurant, especially with a range of outside seats looking down towards the quayside.

I stayed for two nights and ate both evenings. I tried the vegetarian curry, it was wonderful. I have tasted a vegetarian curry that good only once before, in an expensive West End curry house. My girlfriend had fish and chips - I tried the chips and I do not eat them normally, but these were excellent. I also had a fish dish and again it was excellent, along with my girlfriend's chicken. Lovely relaxed surroundings and good beer, try the special Adnams Spind.
