Blakes Restaurant Description
Blakes was created by its owner Anouska Hempel, the international renowned British designer. At the time the concept for such a world-class hotel was considered breathtakingly daring. Today Blakes continues in an unrivalled class of its own, and has established a benchmark, which any 'fashionable small hotel' around the world strives to match.
Anouska Hempel has individually designed each of the 50 bedrooms to her own uncompromising standards. Interiors blend Russian, Eastern, Colonial and Turkish influences to stunning effect.
Above all, the ever-critical eye of its owner ensures the Blakes continue to provide a very particular sense of excitement and adventure, which is only replicated in Blakes sister property Blakes in Amsterdam, which opened eighteen months ago; it was recently voted one of the top twenty new hotels in the world.
