This is my favourite haunt in Newcastle. It's fantastic if you want a quick coffee because the coffee's gorgeous but the really wonderful aspect of this place is the food, so varied and so well priced. The only complaint is that the music's too quiet and the staff aren't always that friendly.

Very nice sandwiches and incredibly varied. Very good place for lunch but get there early, sandwiches and seats tend to run out by about 1.30.
