The restaurant, part of the hotel offers superb British cooking in a relaxing yet stylish environment. A choice of three courses can be tried for £20 pounds with a large selection of seasonal fayre ranging from potted shrimps culminating with a selection of impressive steaks, although the restaurant was busy, the service maintained through out the meal was high, and real effort and thought has been displayed through out the restaurant to present a welcoming atmosphere. The only negative comment comes from the fact that the restaurant is very traditional and although pleasant, could need modernising.

Having stayed the weekend for a wedding, the food and service were excellent, also the use of all facilities was a bonus, I would recommend this venue.
