Blubeckers at Gomshall Mill Description
Blubeckers has an impressive chain of more than twenty restaurants spread across the South East and although the unifying factor in each is the superb food and drink they offer, each restaurant is distinct and stands out on its own, rather than a mindless factory assembly product. Consider for example the gorgeous buildings that they choose, every single one of them attractive, full of character and charm, creating a relaxing and casual atmosphere for drinkers and diners.
Tempting options for lunch include sandwiches served on thick white or malted brown bloomer, whereas light bites such as macaroni and cheese or handmade scotch egg are equally popular. The main menu brings you starters such as pork and apricot terrine followed by grilled lamb steak in mint and redcurrant sauce, served with rosemary roasted new potatoes. End with a plum tarte tatin and enjoy the wide range of wines, champagnes, beers and ales from their excellent bar.
Fixed Lunch
- £13.95 (2 courses), £15.50 (3 courses), Sun, half price for children

Your Reviews of Blubeckers at Gomshall Mill
Steve and SI (2 May 2009)
We had a really good meal at this restaurant. Four of us went, two of which are particularly fussy, un-booked on a Wednesday, not a problem. We were seated by the big wheel at the back. The menu was good, we ordered a variety of starters, main courses and desserts, all were very tasty. The staff were exceptionally pleasant and attentive. The bill was 75 quid for four 3 course meal and drinks.

After moving to Abinger in November of last year, we stumbled across the Gomshall Mill after a two year absence. The refurbishment has done wonders for the interiors and the place is always welcoming and cosy. It now has a real character. Since going in November, my partner and I have been loyal enough to visit this place around once a month, sometimes more if we're a little lazy. Every time I can say that the food is way above normal standards. The chips are hot, the burgers are perfect and unique, the ale is delicious, and the choice is plentiful. The service is top-notch, and the waiters have been the same since we started going, which adds to the appeal of the restaurant. They always engage the customers and are clearly happy working the tables. You have plenty of time to choose your food and talk – you never feel rushed. I recommend this place highly.
