I had the smoked salmon and prawn fettuccini for main course; it was on the special board for £9.95. I couldn’t believe my eyes when it came out - the portion was so small it looked like a starter. When we mentioned it to the server she said 'the chef has to weigh everything these days'. We had to wait over 35 minutes for our puddings too. I won’t be returning. I also felt the tables were really sticky and dirty.

I have just written a two page complaint letter to Blubeckers as I was so disgusted. Father’s day was ruined as we had to wait over 75 minutes between starters and mains even though we had arrived at 12 as requested as another party had our table booked for 2pm. They had packed the restaurant to the rafters, which had stretched the kitchen and the waiting staff to the brink. They are probably more concerned about getting people in, than actually considering service and food quality.
