Blue Rays restaurant is unusual in more ways than one, it offers three floors of contemporary dining with a fully licensed bar area, where you can relax and enjoy pre-dinner drinks before sitting down to a delicious blend of Chinese and Malaysian cuisine. Large parties are always made most welcome, whilst there is also a private function room available. It is worth noting that every Thursday and Friday night you can enjoy their special Malaysian food evenings, with an extensive menu to choose from, an opportunity for you to experience an exciting variety of new tastes and flavours as they celebrate the diversity of their Asian food culture.Chinese, Malaysian

I have been there twice and have had delicious food both times. The cellar room was extremely loud on the Saturday night we went, and so we couldn't hear each other talk, but if you eat upstairs it's much nicer. It was the best Chinese food I've had.

We had an evening meal at Blue Rays in June 2008. Being a Sunday the venue wasn't fully booked but we did pre-book. The menu was good with lots of choices including the option of having Malaysian dishes. The food was very good, the staff were friendly and polite, but they seemed to be a little overstaffed and therefore we felt we were not left alone enough to enjoy our meal together. The meal for two consisting of two to three courses cost around £50.00. We would definitely visit Blue Rays again when in Rochester.
