Bluu - Nottingham Description

Located in the heart of the Lace Market, Bluu at Nottingham is distinctively retro and modern stylish elements fuse interestingly to form the eye catching décor. Funky and eclectic, the bar-brasserie is spread across the ground floor and basement and offers hand crafted cocktails along with the premium wines, beers and a variety of spirits.

Bluu's unswerving commitment to the seasons is evident in their cooking and the famed Sunday recovery service, offers some of the finest roasts in the city. By day dishes include favourites such as the homemade fish finger buttie with chunky Bluu tartare sauce and fresh sandwiches. By night the menu celebrates the best of British produce, with mains ranging from trio of Yorkshire rabbit, to the good old fashioned pie and mash.

The ultra hip basement can be hired along with Bluu's catering services and on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays DJ's pump up the decibels by playing anything from vintage soul to rock and roll.

Love Good Food (17 April 2008)

Having been to Bluu many times over the years, and most recently in March 2008, I felt nothing has changed – lively atmosphere, friendly and attentive service, and good food. I eat out a lot and I’m very particular about service and value for money. I recommend this place.

I went into Bluu last Sunday for breakfast. I must say I really enjoyed it, the food and service was absolutely brilliant! No bullshit waitresses, just polite and helpful staff! Would recommend the Sunday Recovery Service Menu - fantastic, will be there again soon!
