Bocca Restaurant in High Parade brings traditional Italian cuisine to Streatham, courtesy of chef owner Valerio Daros who has captured the simplicity and goodness of Italian home cooking in his inimitable way. Guests can enjoy a pleasant evening meal or lunch in comfortable environs.

A variety of traditional pizzas is an integral feature of the menu with choice of margherita, quattro formaggi, Foirentina and Parma. While the house special pizza Bocca is topped with shrimps, courgettes, sweet chilli and garlic, others have toppings of meatballs, anchovies, peppers, capers, rocket, goat's cheese and pesto. The pasta selection includes linguine with salmon and cream, black tagliolini with crab meat, gnocchi with tomato, mozzarella and basil, spinach and ricotta tortellini with tomato sauce and fettuccine with prawns and mushrooms. For the main course, there's chicken escalope with a mushroom and cream sauce, calf's liver with butter and sage, grilled Scotch sirloin steak with a red wine sauce, fillet of salmon with white wine sauce and mashed potato and roast rabbit with polenta and cabbage. Round off with tiramisu, apple pancakes or almond and cinnamon tart.
