The delights of a traditional English pub and charming Thai restaurant are all rolled into a unique and appealing refuge called Boddington and Dragon. The recently renovated pub is located just off the main Altrincham Road.

The bar allows guests to linger over wine, beer or champagne, and sample typical pub food. The ambience is relaxing with comfortable sofas, and Asian pictures and knick-knacks.

Dragon restaurant offers a range of feast menus to suits the needs of a large group, and individuals can choose to order from the à la carte.

The selection could include chicken satay, spring rolls, spicy fish cakes, dim sum, and pork spare ribs to help start, and a sizzling weeping tiger of char-grilled sirloin steak, sliced, and flamed with rice wine, to follow. Main courses embrace Thai curries; pad ped gaprow, a classic favourite of chicken, pork, seafood or vegetables stir-fried with fresh chillies and basil leaves; roast duck breast on a bed of Chinese greens, or fried whole sea bream with tamarind sauce. Noodles, rice and bread complement the dishes.
