We chose the Boot Room for a special 50th birthday celebration and were not disappointed. Steve and Rosie could not do enough for us and the food was top class. I was excited to see calves' liver on the menu - my favourite - and I couldn't fault it - served with crispy bacon - yum. I thought it was a nice touch that Steve, the chef, came and had a chat with the diners. It is definitely worth a visit.

I ate there in August, in a party of four. It has nice surroundings, friendly staff and really excellent food. Sea bass with wonton and chilli sauce were fabulous. Sun dried tomato and goats' cheese risotto were the 'best ever', steak with chunky chips were spot on. This place deserves a visit.
