Ox Pasture Hall has made quite a name for itself as one of those few luxury country house hotels that instils a feeling of striking freshness yet oozing rustic charm and style. Log burner, beamed ceiling and exposed stonework welcome diners into the charming Brasserie, that is open all day for friends, colleagues or just about anyone who'd like to catch up on some food, drink and friendly banter.

Their menu is relatively easier on the wallet when compared to the restaurant's, but the cooking is no less appealing and remains attuned to the seasons. A meal that could start with pressed ham hock terrine or tomato and goats' cheese tartlet, followed by chicken and mushroom pie, lamb shank, or grilled calves' liver with sage and onion mash, crispy bacon and red wine sauce.
