Brasserie at The Swan
46-46a Greengate Street, Stafford, ST16 2JA
This former 18th century coaching inn has a prime location in the centre of town, and with 300 years of service and a major £1.5m modernisation by The Lewis Partnership behind it is well able to deal with the demands of modern life when it comes to creature comforts such as eating, drinking and relaxing. In 2009 the brasserie won 'Brasserie of the Year' in the prestigious Taste of Staffordshire Awards. Its reputation for live music in Stafford under the Swan Live programme is enviable, with the Courtyard Garden pressed into service.Brasserie, Modern British

REVIEWS OF Brasserie at The Swan
Barry (28 January 2009)
I've eaten many times at the Swan Brasserie and it is simply the best. Yet to eat my way through the entire menu but will definitely get around to it. Luke and his team provide fantastic service and the food is magnificent. Great to have an eating place with such 'ambience' in Stafford.
Sue Jordan (18 January 2007)
This restaurant has the balance just right. Excellent food, lovely modern brasserie (although the building itself is steeped in history) and a great atmosphere. I particularly like the fact that you can start with a drink in the wine bar, move through to the restaurant then up to your room if you don’t want to drive home!
The food is of exceptional quality for the price. Everybody in Stafford should try the fixed price lunch menu. You can’t beat it for value for money. The child’s menu is great too - not just burger and chips!
The service is excellent and you certainly feel like you have had a special night out when you visit the Swan.
