If you fancy something a little different, then this is the place for you. The kitchen and waiting staff are either trainee chefs or management students, learning the ropes of hospitality under the watchful eye of their lecturers. The food is fabulous using a wide variety of ingredients, to help the students develop their skills. Open for both lunch and dinner, the standard of food these students manage to produce never ceases to amaze me. Go with an open mind and a smidgen of patience and you will have a wonderful evening.

I’ve been to many London restaurants in my time, but this training college for high class chefs is well worth visiting. Although the restaurant itself looks a bit like a school hall, the quality of food matches anything that you will get in any fine dining establishment. One must bear in mind that this is a training school, so the service can be hesitant at times, but you will probably get one waiter per table as they are attentive to detail. The staff and students should be proud to turn out high quality cuisine like this without being too specific. Everything we tasted was first class, well done!
