My daughter, son-in-law and I all had lunch today. The welcome was warm and immediate, the atmosphere was comfortable and I just knew the food was going to be excellent before we even sat down. True to my expectations the menu had so many mouth watering choices, I was stuck for choice. Eventually we all had the fixed price offer of two courses and had a lovely glass of wine to accompany. I had parsnip soup - creamy, delicate and heated to perfection. My fish main was delicious, I savoured every mouthful and there was just enough on my plate. We booked our Mother’s Day lunch and on return home, I booked again to give my friend a treat. It was the best meal I had eaten in a long time, excellent value for money, very professional waiter service and can’t wait to return. 10/10.

We visited a while ago, actually, during the really cold weather in February. The whole experience was wonderful. The food was excellent and service - superb without being over the top. My dining companion and I are usually quite vocal and are not usually short of topics for conversation. That night, we mostly managed just yummy noises. We look forward to a return visit.
