Although tucked a little out of the way on Clapham Manor Street, the Bread & Roses is well worth tracking down for either an enjoyable evening of drinking, or for the pleasure of dining here. Being a pub there's a choice of sitting in the main bar, or alternatively the airy conservatory at the back, or indeed the garden. On the menu here you'll find plenty of familiar dishes to choose from, ranging from sharing plates for those just after a snack, to heartier dishes such as beer battered cod and chips, or sizeable char-grilled chicken sandwiches. Being a pub the place tends to be kept busy with both drinkers and diners so expect a lively atmosphere and an excellent selection of beers and wines to accompany your meal.
