Britannia Description

Named after the Britannia Brewery, which once stood on this Kensington side street, The Britannia is a sturdy modern gastropub serving robust British and European cooking. Muted colours and mismatched chairs give the restaurant an easygoing and mellow ambience, with the dining space spilling into a congenial bar up front and a slender decked outdoor terrace. Sunday roasts are particularly popular.

I recently stumbled upon this lovely little pub to escape the rain and I have not been to another pub since. The staff are lovely and so welcoming. The food is brilliant. Several times I have gone with friends and shared one of the platters with a bottle of wine. I also took my partner for a romantic meal. The Britannia covers it all!
