Brompton Quarter Cafe Description

London's exclusive Knightsbridge buzzes with shoppers and tourists and the Brompton Quarter Café located there is ideal for a quick or leisurely lunch, depending on your inclination. This contemporary and elegant restaurant seems straight out of the continent with its smiling staff, chic outlook, white interiors and big glass windows. Drop by in the morning for some delicious croissants or opt for the homemade pancakes with mascarpone and honey for an indulgent way to begin the day.

The á la carte menu for lunch offers starters of smoked haddock and salmon fishcake with soft poached egg and hollandaise sauce followed by a more substantial main course of char grilled organic sirloin steak, field mushrooms, chips and béarnaise. The dessert menu brings pistachio ice parfait with chocolate sauce and plantain bananas amongst numerous decadent options. Smoothies, juices and hot chocolate are wonderful drinks but if you're looking for something more heady, there are wines and champagnes from France and Spain also.

Your Reviews of Brompton Quarter Cafe

Kathrine (8 January 2009)

I had the most amazing lunch at the Brompton Quarter Cafe a few days ago, the food is so fresh and the staff friendly and very professional. I had an organic chicken salad as a starter, the fish of the day as a main, delicious sauce with baked charlottes and fennel and for dessert I had a chocolate cake, which I must go back for more - just heaven.
