The Brookes Restaurant provides hospitality management students in the Oxford Brookes University Business School with resources to learn, develop and demonstrate their kitchen and restaurant skills. The modern and spacious restaurant is situated in Gypsy Lane in Oxford Brookes University and is a lovely place for an intimate dinner or a corporate lunch.

The dishes on the menu are created using as much seasonal and local produce as possible. Expect to find starters of celery velouté with apple crème fraîche; halibut cerviché on pink grapefruit, and watercress soup with red pepper rouille.

Mains that are served with passion and flair could include slow roast shoulder of lamb and shepherds' pie; baked Pollack on lemon and basil parsley; stir-fried noodles with dukkah spiced vegetables baba ganoush and flat bread, and woodland mushroom lasagne.

Finish with banoffee risotto with brandy snap crisp, or treacle tart with citrus zabaglione. Wines are served by the glass or bottle.

The restaurant is available for hire throughout the year for business events and special occasions.
