I haven't been there for a few years since moving to London but, when I lived in Yorkshire, Brook's was my favourite restaurant. I went there for lots of family occasions including my 18th birthday, and my father's wedding, which was a private party taking over the whole place. Excellent food, great wine list and attentive service - overall, it represents cracking value for money.

My wife and I, and many of our friends have visited this restaurant on many occasions over the last fifteen years, including some memorable occasions in the private dining room. The food and service are invariably excellent. The ambience is relaxed, the welcome genuine, which when mixed with the professionalism of Darrell and his staff, makes this place hard to beat. Never been to Brighouse? Well, here's a reason to visit.
