Buffs Description
A busy establishment down amongst the docks, owing something to the wine bar ethos but with restaurant aspirations. This is reflected in the variations of the menu and the time of day, with the wine bar emerging strongly at lunchtime, when the very mobile blackboards are in full swing offering such dishes as a tangy mackerel pate or salt beef with will dill pickles. The venison sausages are worthy of closer attention. In the evenings a larger net is cast and the menu travels the globe with laverbread and bacon, tandoori vegetables and very good chargrilled steak amongst the many interesting dishes that bear the hallmark of careful preparation. A well-chosen wine list offers interesting options with house wine from £9.95.

I would definitely recommend this restaurant. The Sunday lunch is excellent and very reasonably priced.
The bench style of seating is very good for business lunches as they give a certain amount of privacy and also if you are having a romantic dinner, for the same reason.
