Bulls Head Description
A non-nonsense village pub, efficient without being soul-less, lively without being rowdy, presided over by a couple who clearly know what they are about. The daily menu offers specialities covering a wide range of culinary experience, well supported by the traditional menu, full of old favourites. The consumption of considerable quantities of real ale is a particularly favourite pursuit in this part of the country and the Bulls Head is by no means at the back of the queue. But should you require something a little more refined with your meal you will be equally spoiled for choice.

Four of us visited in March early on a Saturday evening without booking. Superb food and great service in lovely surroundings – it’s not inexpensive but well worth the money, about £30 per head. We will definitely go again. Try it - you will be glad you did.

This pub served good food, but was taken over at the back end of 2006 and is now even better! Service is excellent and the menu now a little more up market. For example, you may be asked to take a chesterfield and be served pre-dinner drinks whilst your table is prepared, and when requesting a "coffee" you will be given a "coffee menu".
Not your average pub, better than many of the local more expensive hotel restaurants. I have used the restaurant for a cosy meal for two but also booked the converted barn part of the building for a company dinner - on all occasions excellent.
