One of Davy's many traditional wine bars, Bunghole is located on High Holborn, just a short distance from Holborn Tube Station and has a familiar and warm ambience of cosy candle-lit tables, wine barrels and floors covered with saw dust. The bar allows patrons to relax while being served a range of hearty traditional pub fare, filling sandwiches or lighter bites to complement the drinks.

Served throughout the day, the menu comprises matured and fresh steaks of sirloin, T-bone and fillet with a choice of sauces and grilled tomatoes, sandwiches of grilled warm goat's cheese with roast Mediterranean vegetables and pesto on toasted ciabatta. For those looking to have a more leisurely three course lunch there are starters such as chicken liver pâté with caramelised onion marmalade and toast, or seared scallops with prosciutto and pea puree. Other main course choices include warm kiln roasted salmon with vegetables and hot buttered potatoes, steak burger and chips or chicken breast with tarragon mash and seasonal vegetables.

The extensive wine list includes Davy's ever reliable own label wines as well as a carefully selected rage of new and old world reds, whites and roses, champagnes, and dessert wines. There's also a selection of real ales, including Davy's own Old Wallop, port, and sherry to complement any meal.
