We stayed and ate at the Royal Chase - 5 of us had dinner - two adults plus 3 children (8, 9 & 13). The food was very well presented and the service was excellent. Our younger children were catered for rom the bar menu but this was "tarted up" somewhat for dinner in the main restaurant. The atmosphere was very relaxing. The adult meals were beautifully presented and delicious. However, the ultimate luxury was saved for the puddings - which were exquisite - our 9 year old son had a selection of sorbets, served in an ice bowl which had flowers in - he was overawed. My husband had the crème brûlée which was to die for and although we cannot remember what our eldest daughter had it arrived on a blue glass platter with fresh flowers and sauce drizzled over it. It was so good we took photos!! Service was very good, ambience was lovely and we would highly recommend it!!
