Their bistro menu lunch at £6.50 for two courses must represent some of the best value north of the border. The wine list marries up well with the décor and prices are not far behind, but some rewarding bins await those with patience. Café 1 is a valuable addition to the gourmet life of Inverness.

The food was divine and the hospitality was heart warming and I will go back there. Where else can you find the finest cuisine at such reasonable prices?
