Café 52 is located in the heart of Aberdeen in one of the oldest parts of the city called The Green. The atmosphere here is laid back and the menu, motivating. The restaurant is an earthy, warm, and slightly 'whole meal' kind of place that offers seasonal home-made food.

At lunch you could try baked black pudding salad with olives and tomatoes and local beef sausages, leeks, cannellini beans, courgettes and smoked tomato sauce. You could start your evening with a smoked adrahan and crispy pancetta and goat's cheese croustade with figs and honey. Main course could consist of Shetland mussels cooked in tomato, coriander, garlic and cream and fresh whole red snapper baked with lemon and basil served with a peach and lime cous cous.

The wine and cocktail list is graced with some staple Old and New World wines, mixed with quite a few off-beat numbers.
