Cafe at The Walls, The

Chester's delightful Café at the Walls is a friendly, family run eatery that offers a casual and relaxed space with delicious bites and nibbles during the day, and transforms into a chic restaurant in the evening, serving authentic Malaysian cuisine alongside traditional British favourites. Breakfast is served all day, while there are other tasty fillers too, such as sandwiches, toasties, and jacket potatoes and it's a great idea to drop in for a quick lunch with a friend.

For a more elaborate meal however, you could choose starters of crispy wontons, deep fried prawn and pork mince dumplings served with a sweet chilli dip. Move on to the beef rending, sliced fillet steak in a thick curry flavoured with shallots, galangal, lemon grass and coconut cream and end with the raspberry flapjack or ice cream. The wine list is eclectic, featuring choices from Europe and the New World along with beers and beverages.
