Cafe du Jardin, Le Description

Now well established over many years in its prominent corner position on Wellington Street in Covent Garden, this delightful, coolly decorated restaurant has maintained high standards throughout. The brainchild of gentle giant Tony Howorth, formerly the chef at Le Caprice, you will find many dishes that they have adopted as their signature ones - but originally his - on Cafe du Jardin's menu. Their set price lunches, and early evening and late evening menus are a bargain considering the quality, fans applaud the quality of their risottos and pasta dishes, whilst the menu concentrates on quality ingredients served simply with intense sauces. One of the best in the area.

Fixed Lunch

  • £13.50 (2 courses & coffee) to £16.50 (3 courses & coffee)

Your Reviews of Cafe du Jardin, Le

John Fulton (24 October 2007)

What a delight to find such a restaurant after being at the theatre. The food on the set menu was wonderful and the value was excellent. We have started recommending Cafe Du Jardin to anyone who might be visiting Covent Garden.

Tina Pittock (28 July 2005)

My friend and I have now used the Cafe du Jardin for 3 years when we visit the city and have dinner before seeing a show. We think it is wonderful and good value. We have the 3 course set menu and a bottle of white house wine. Excellent.
