Cafe Number Seven Description

One of those little gems that crop up from time to time in close proximity to universities, cathedrals and other similar 'quarters'. Number 7 has a double whammy being close to the University and bang slap in between Liverpool's two famous Cathedrals. Essentially a snack place, but not just your ordinary snacks, these are imaginative, tasty and don't cost an arm and a leg. An ideal place for a swift and enjoyable lunch with your eyes fixed on dinner as the culinary event of the day - but not here, they close at 7 pm. Good friendly atmosphere, the sort of place that makes you wish you were back at uni - but you'll cope!

It is a lovely place, but I have found the staff to be too busy to serve you. I had one of the best pizzas I have ever had, a couple of years ago. I was really looking forward to another one recently, but the crust was so incredibly tough that I could only just cut it. When the girl took the plates away, I told her how tough the pizza was and she replied that no one else had ever complained. I would not go back for a while. It is like the staff are doing you a favour for eating there.
