Cafe Pacifico - Covent Garden
5 Langley Street, London, WC2H 9JA
Café Pacifico on 5 Langley Street is perhaps London's most realistically recreated Mexican cantina, and is housed in a building, which was originally used as a banana-ripening warehouse during the time when Covent Garden was still the fruit and vegetable market for London. The venue is great for a fun night out and you could easily while away a good hour or two at the well-stocked bar, before taking up a table in the restaurant. Starters range from simple nachos and quesadillas to the more unusual tequila fire cracker prawns. Fajitas are served with a variety of fillings and other options include Mexican chicken curry and duck breast with a smoky barbecue salsa, not exactly what you think of as standard fare.Café Pacifico on 5 Langley Street is perhaps London's most realistically recreated Mexican cantina, and is housed in a building, which was originally used as a banana-ripening warehouse during the time when Covent Garden was still the fruit and vegetable market for London. On the dessert list, the Pacifico mud pie is definitely the way to go - frozen mocha ice cream and chocolate sauce in a cookie crust, topped with whipped cream. To add that special finishing touch to your meal there are liqueurs like the agavero or the tequila based reserva de la famila.

REVIEWS OF Cafe Pacifico - Covent Garden
Jean & David Bowles (7 January 2010)
Have eaten at Cafe Pacifico twice before when on breaks to the city. Although not in the first flush of youth, find the atmosphere great. The buzz was comparable to Carlos and Charlie’s in Cozumel. We are going to the city soon and are planning to eat there again.
JL (5 August 2008)
This place rocks! We went there last night and had an awesome time. The sizzling fajitas were great and really good sized portions. The waitresses were friendly and really fun and yes it was noisy, it’s a Mexican cantina. Great atmosphere, great food and a really great 'different' London restaurant - I'd give it nine out of ten.
