Cafe Sapore Description
Cafe Sapore is a new age bistro, a smart and stylish eatery in Hartburn, Stockton on Tees, where you can drop in for a coffee and a slice of cake, a glass of wine or a traditional panini. Of course they also have a seasonal menu where only the freshest locally sourced ingredients and classic Italian elements come together to create a variety of tantalising dishes. There's also a delightful little deli where you can purchase authentic Italian products and go on to try something at home too if you're adventurous enough.
For those longing to take time off from the kitchen, a look at their menu could bring starters of fresh mussels, tomato and chilli sauce and toasted bread and the main course of pork filet in herb crust, extra virgin oil potato puree and sweet onions veloute is excellent. The wine list offers some interesting choices from Italy, and if you love sweets, don't miss the almond parfait with chocolate sauce and pistachio nuts.

My partner and I visited Cafe Sapore on a quiet Wednesday night to celebrate her birthday last week. I booked in advance but didn’t need to as we were the only people there. We were warmly welcomed by Massimo and his new Italian waiter. The quality of the food served to us was fantastic. We have a habit of sharing each others starters and meals so I can recommend the pigeon, veal and sea bass. The produce was clearly fresh, of high quality and cooked with knowledge and passion. I wish Massimo best of luck with the new and exciting restaurant and I would recommend it to anyone wanting a great night out with fantastic food and service.

We live quite close by and thought we would give it a try, we had been told that the food was good, and to find somewhere nice these days is few and far between, and as a chef I know that myself, on arriving we received a warm friendly welcome. The service was good, the food was great, fresh and tasty and the presentation was very good. Desserts were lovely. This is a really nice place to go and eat, I never wrote a review so it must be good.
