Rare, unusual meats feature on the menu and Cyrus's Speciality Menu changes fortnightly to take advantage of the best the British seasons have to offer. A truly extraordinary menu that at any one time can include squid dynamite marinated in a fiery Goan peri-peri masala, and the traditional Parsee-style chicken curry made by first roasting then pureeing peanuts, almonds, cashew nuts, poppy seeds and fresh coconut with red chillies and a host of spices and condiments.
The author of two specialist cookbooks, Cyrus was conferred the OBE title by Her Majesty The Queen for services to the hospitality Industry.
The décor at Café Spice is vibrant, contemporary and bold to match the food that is served, with saffron, cinnamon and kasbah blue predominating the colour scheme. The restaurant is airy and comfortable, and there is also a vibrant ginger garden for those who prefer to dine al fresco.

REVIEWS OF Cafe Spice Namaste
James Stephenson (27 March 2006)
I have eaten here on many occasions. Cannot praise it enough. From the excellent friendly service to the exquisite food. Do not expect your usual standard Indian curry house fare, this is head & shoulders above that. If you are a meat eater the lamb shank is delicious also the Scottish beef is divine (although can be a bit on the spicy side, be warned!!). The only negative is that it is not cheap however for a special occasion or a change from the slops that some curry houses serve it is worth the extra cost. Highly recommended!
