Cafe Zia Description
Café Zia in Battersea shot to fame recently when Chef Manju Choudhury was in the news for creating the world's largest onion bhajee, weighing a whopping sixty kilograms. This feat has earned him a place in the Guinness Book of World Records and the proceeds were donated to charity, as a result this has drawn in new crowds.
Customers love its friendly ambience and tasty food, examples include dahi sev puri, a delightful medley of spiced potato, topped with tamarind and yoghurt sauce, which is a pleasant way to whet your appetite. The deep-fried, battered mixed vegetable pakoras are an attractive choice, in addition to stalwarts like tandoori lamb chops and chicken tikka.
Seafood aficionados could try the lobster curry or scallops coated in yoghurt. Their signature dish is tender lamb shank marinated overnight and cooked with onions tomatoes, chillies and chickpeas.
